Biologists and ecologists from LandQuest Ventures, LLC (i.e. LandQuest) performed extensive biological, ecological, and water quality assessments in a five (5) adjacent lake system located in Panama City Beach from 2023-present. The essential goal these assessments was to better understand existing water quality and the structure and function of ecosystems with the lake basin system in order to develop improved management options. Results of the study have been used to suggest possible improvements to reduce the potential future environmental impacts. Topographic and bathymetric surveys were performed to establish shoreline elevations, water depths, and sediment thickness. LandQuest scientists conducted biological sampling, fish surveying, 

vibracore sampling, surface water sampling at multiple sites across all five lakes (Lullwater, Star, Palm, Gulfview, and Seahorse) at fourteen stations from 2024 to 2025. Water quality parameters included chlorophyll, temperature, dissolved oxygen, pH, specific conductivity, total dissolved solids, salinity, Total Nitrogen (TN), Total Phosphorus (TP), and orthophosphate.
